My dad was born and raised in NC and he kept "some meat on" nearly every weekend. He passed away four years ago and no one has ever come close to his Q since. That is until I tried one of your sandwiches.
I took one to my mother, she took one bite and agreed that it is very much like dad's. We sat there and reminisced until we were both nearly in tears.
Thanks for awaking our memories.
Were glad the Beulah Land experience meant so much to you and your family. We'll see you soon.

Earlier this evening I attended the Sportsman Spectacular at the Pensacola Interstate Fairgrounds, sponsored by Heritage Baptist Church and catered by the good folks at Beulah Land.
Over 1,000 people were served flawlessly! Amazing! Just wait, next Friday night all those sportsmen and their families are going to descend on Beulah Land for more awesome BBQ.
Here's a pix of Doug relaxing a moment after the serving was completed.

As a founding member of the International Society of BBQ Aficionados (ISBBQA), I've eaten in most of the bbq joints east of the Mississippi including the original Dreamland BBQ in Tuscaloosa many times and I must say, Beulah Land Bar-B-Q does it better! Keep up the good work!
Your comments are so appreciated. Send us more information the ISBBQA. We'll see you the next time you're in Pensacola.

Captain D ~ Sheesh! I've just gotta show you my babe! Lovely lady, but she refuses to ride a hog, says she would rather run with the frogs.
She loves Doug's bbq at Beulah Land. (I told her he only cooks with tofu!)

Tell her whatever necessary to keep her coming to Beulah Land. Thanks for the comment and support. We see y'all real soon.

I would like to say that your Bar-B-Q is the best that I have ever had. It all started last December when myself and some friends took a motorcycle ride from Destin to Beulah Land because we had heard so much about it from a friend in Montrose, AL. To make a long story short we are now trying to get a group of people together for a ride to your place during a poker run in a few weeks. Thanks for the excellent Q.
We are delighted to hear about your possible plans. Call ahead if there's anything we can do preparation wise to accomodate your group. We hope to see you soon.
Thanks for your support.

Our concept is "family and friends eating at one big table." We're glad you felt the love. Thanks for your support and we hope to see you again real soon.

I stopped in the week after hearing the “Southern Sports Tonight” live broadcast from Beulah Land. I wasn't disappointed either. I haven't had BBQ that good since my childhood in North Carolina.
Back then I often fell asleep to the smell of a pig roasting in the backyard. Grandfather and my uncles would stay up all night tending to the meat, and the women would work all day on the sides — cole slaw, baked beans, collard greens, okra, green beans, sweet potatoes and cobblers for dessert.
I'm retired now and live on the Eastern Shore of Mobile Bay so I'm only 45 miles away — hope to see you next week!
Your compliment is among the best. We know you folks from N.C. know good bbq. Thanks for your support.

My parents have a home in Pensacola. They have ranted and raved about your place. My Mom is the one who sent me your website. We will be visiting around Easter, so I can't wait see what Mom has been ranting about. I do love good BBQ.
We will see you at Easter and and it will be confirmed that "Mom knows best." Take care.

Hey, I took Charlie and Melissa to your place last Dec, now he discovers your guestbook (thanks to Google) and tells me to add my comments. I'm not good at this so I will keep it short and sweet: You guys know your stuff . . . your BBQ is the best in the area!

This place is great! Like true love, real barbeque cannot be rushed it needs to be cooked long and slow and is best enjoyed at a leisurely pace. Beulah Land Bar-B-Q has "true Q" cooked to perfection. Got a situation in Iraq to take care of and then I will be back for more. Semper Fi

A friend of mine said, "there's only two kinds of barbecue — good or bad."
He's wrong, there's a third category and it's called "hog heaven!" You'll find it at Beulah Land.
Nice picture. Thanks for the compliment. Hope to see you when you're in the area again.

Wow, I Googled the words "Beulah Land Bar-B-Q" and your kewl site pops up!
What ya gonna do, market to the www and ship your BBQ all over the world?
Wish I could send some to my brother in Baghdad. I visited your place with
my uncle last week and everything was really good. (Much better than a Big
Mac!)
Maybe one day. Thanks for coming in and we hope you're a regular. When your
brother comes home, you'll have to bring him in.

In our travels we've found the most memorable BBQ at "weekend" places where
they put a couple of hogs up on Wednesday, and are only open from Friday
evening until the pig runs out (usually Saturday)— that is until we
discovered Beulah Land Bar-B-Q and they now receive our highest rating —
"as good as we've ever had."
Your compliment is gold. Thank you for your support and we hope to see you
again real soon.

My wife and I were introduced to Beulah Land right after you opened in
December 2003 by my uncle who lives in Gulf Shores. The BBQ is the best I
have ever tasted! Hope to get back there this summer. When you decide to
expand, may I suggest you put Beulah Land Bar-B-Q number two in Manassas,
VA.

Congratulations on being the first visitor to comment on our website. We look
